About: Francesco Vetere

francescoMy scientific career from the beginning developed in the field of evolution of magmatic processes, which enabled me to gain experience in the domain of the chemical and physical properties of rocks at high temperature and pressure. I have a particular knowledge of the experimental methods and modeling of silicate melts viscosity, structure, and further on, partially crystallized systems.

From July 2012 to June 2014 I worked as a researcher at the University of Hannover with a full support of Marie Curie Fellowship (IEF2011 SolVoM project). This opportunity enables me to better define systems of interest with interdisciplinary approaches, combining geochemistry, mineralogy, experimental petrology and geophysics. Since the first of September 2014, I am working as researcher at the Department of Physic and Geology, University of Perugia.
